The Vision
600 is the perfect solution for executive
office and small meeting room applications. With its state-of-the-art design and small
footprint, the Vision 600 occupies less space than an ordinary telephone. The system's
unique design incorporates a revolutionary 10.4" Flat Screen Display and is the
world's first use of this technology in a videoconferencing product.
The Vision 600 is a fully-integrated unit containing the codec, camera, speaker, keypad,
and an internal microphone. This unique audio technology allows complete freedom of
movement and ensures that the system will pick up your voice wherever you are.
Even for the most non-technical users, operating the Vision 600 is simple. With its
intuitive multi-functional keypad and easy to follow on-screen messages, TANDBERG has

The Vision
770 is the industry's highest quality, low
bandwidth small group system. Totally versatile and adaptable, it offers superior quality
audio and video in a fully- integrated compact unit. Featuring its state-of-the-art design
and small footprint, the Vision 770 occupies less space than an ordinary telephone. With
the flexibility to connect to a TV monitor, the Vision 770 incorporates plug and play
technology for rapid setup.
The Vision 770 comes with everything you need to set up a videoconference within seconds:
codec, Pan/Tilt/Zoom camera, speaker, keypad and an internal microphone. This unique audio
technology allows for complete freedom of movement and ensures that the system will pick
up your voice wherever you are.
TANDBERG is the first company to implement the H.263 video standard for greater bandwidth
efficiency. This standard offers a 50% better picture than the previous standard, H.261,
at the Vision 770's operating speed of 128 kps. The system provides sharper images and
improved contrast with enhanced clarity of finer details. Smoother motion handling is
achieved by sustaining the frame rate and by delivering a more fluid and natural image.
The Vision 770 automatically falls back to the original H.261 standard if the remote
equipment does not support the more advanced standard. Top of page
The Vision 800 makes

Sharp images and smooth motion handling define the Vision 800's outstanding video quality. Achieving the best possible quality is easy as the Intelligent Call Management (ICM) feature automatically optimizes the system.

With the infrared handheld controller, that is as familiar as a television remote, users can easily control the cameras, audiovisual and multimedia equipment at both the local and remote sites.
A natural conversation flow is vital for effective interaction. The Vision 800 incorporates Intelligent Audio Mixing that establishes one microphone as active, automatically determined by the user who is speaking. This feature prevents sounds from inactive microphones or other audio sources from being picked up and eliminates distracting background noise.
To further enhance the Vision 800's audio capabilities, the Automatic Gain Control (AGC) ensures that all participants will be heard at the same level at all remote sites, no matter where they are located in the room, and regardless of the volume at which they speak.

The Vision
1000 is the highest quality, low
bandwidth group system available in a fully-featured rollabout unit. Supplied with a
single 27" monitor, the Vision 1000 is an ideal choice for mid to large group
applications.
The Vision 1000 provides downspeeding functionality for increased reliability. If one of
the channels is dropped during the course of a videoconferencing session, downspeeding
automatically maintains the connection without interrupting the call in progress. At the
same time, the system provides real-time, on-screen feedback on the status of the call.
The Vision 1000 will automatically re-adjust for the best available video and audio
quality without re-booting or re-dialing.
Like all other TANDBERG products, the Vision 1000's solid-state design does not
incorporate any PC components. With no hard drive to crash or operating system to fail,
the Vision 1000 is clearly one of the industry's most reliable videoconferencing systems.
In addition, the Vision 1000 is manufactured under ISO 9002 certification for proven

The Vision 2500 leverages TANDBERG's award winning technology into an affordable system. These new advancements in the technology make videoconferencing as easy to use as a telephone and provide a meeting environment as natural as being in the same room.
Meeting the needs of today's 'business-critical' applications, the Vision 2500 offers excellent video quality. Its high speed processing of video images ensures a free conversation flow, smooth motion handling and sharply detailed images.
The Vision 2500's W.A.V.E. (Wide Angle View) Camera is specifically designed for videoconferencing. With the widest range available within the industry, it captures all the participants without having to constantly adjust the camera.
With operating speeds of 384 kbps and 30 frames per second, the system supports all major ISDN network protocols as well as external network connectivity. The Vision 2500, like all other TANDBERG products, is Year 2000 compliant.
The Vision 2500 includes two separate echo cancellers that serve to automatically adjust the audio for various room sizes and number of participants. Not widely available in the industry, the system offers a built-in audio mixer that eliminates the need for additional hardware.
The Vision 2500 is based on a solid state core technology and alleviates the dependency on PC components that can result in drive failures and software conflicts. Yet the Vision 2500 provides full personal computer compatibility allowing users to benefit from application sharing such as text documents, spreadsheets or presentations.
For videoconferencing over the Internet and Intranets, the Vision 2500 is hardware enabled for the latest International Telecommunication Union (ITU) standard, H.323, designed for high performance IP based communications. Its Ethernet/LAN connectivity feature allows for system integration into a Local Area Network. Through the LAN the latest software upgrades may be uploaded. In addition, remote diagnostics and LAN management facilities allow for better control of the system and network. Easily upgradeable the Vision 2500 can be updated in order to take advantage of new technologies and features, thus protecting the investment in the technology.
